Instructions for using Essential Oils
These potions, defined as
synergies, are 100% pure, organic and
concentrated, unless noted! We do not recommend using the essential oil synergies
directly on the skin, without diluting them first, in order to
create a blend. Please do not eat or
ingest any essential oil.
The "complete set" choices contain one essential oil undiluted
synergy potion, one carrier
oil or product and a mixing tin. We recommend that you
purchase one complete set so that you may blend the oils
properly.
For best results and maximum viscosity and
coverage, mix the synergy with a carrier in a
ratio of one (1) drop oil to five (5) to ten (10) drops of the
carrier. Carriers can be Rosewater
& Glycerin, Shea Butter or oils like Vitamin E,
Rosehip, Almond, Walnut, Apricot Kernel and Jojoba or any
favorite lotion or cream of your
choice.
Potions containing healing oil synergies, such as
"Healing" with Arnica, Chamomile and Yarrow are
specially formulated to ease muscle and or joint pain and
discomfort. After mixing with a Carrier, this blend should be
applied directly at the site. Apply and massage to
sore muscle area several times a day, as needed.
The mixing tin can be sealed so you may take it
with you.
Some
scents and syngergies, like "Inspire" are
particularly useful at the start of your day. Lather up
your wash towel or body sponge (included in gift set) with your
favorite soap or gel, then add two or three drops of essential oil
blend. Scrunch up to lather, then starting with feet, work
upwards toward your heart. Rinse. Start your day with
renewed energy and vitality!
Synergies like "Haven" are formulated as
room and area fresheners. The combination of wood scents will
remind you of cedar chests and a happy home. This type of
oil is especially useful when heated in a diffuser or warming tray
or simply place one or two drops on a cotton ball and tuck into
a drawer.
You
may also benefit from aromatherapy, at any time, by simply
inhaling the scent directly from the vial.
